The Standard Bank BIOMASS FAIR has committed to strictly adhere to the COVID-19 regulations and restrictions put in place by the Government of the Republic of Namibia. The 28th Covid-19 Public Briefing included an amendment to Regulation No. 4 on Public Gatherings of the Public Health COVID-19 General Regulations (of the Public and Environmental Health Act of 2015) to reduce the number of people at both outdoor and indoor gatherings from the current 100 to a maximum of 50 people per event. These regulations are valid until 30 June 2021.
It is against this background that the Standard Bank BIOMASS FAIR organising committee has postponed the Entire Biomass Fair 2021 (Public Exhibition and Demonstration, Research Symposium, Industry Conference and Networking Dinner) that was scheduled for 3 to 4 June 2021. The proposed dates for the Biomass Fair will be announced in due course depending on COVID-19 developments.
