Increasing bush encroachment of Namibia’s open savannah landscapes causes considerable ecological and economic damage. The valorisation of the surplus biomass however offers vast potential for domestic and international investors. The annually available amount of biomass material, which needs to be removed to restore a sustainable savannah, can only be used in the country to a limited extent. The majority of the resulting biomass therefore opens opportunities for international cooperations and partnerships. Here we inform you about the conditions of the Namibian Biomass Sector for international companies and provide contact information on relevant stakeholders and potential business partners. .
